The Air Charter Association (The ACA) has announced the appointment of Malin Junkers as events and training executive to support the coordination and growth of The ACA's events and training opportunities, with a particular focus on the Air Charter Broker Qualification and The ACA Internship.
Junkers joins The ACA after working several years in the live events industry, where she developed a passion for the operational and logistical aspects of event management. Her experience with international tours and projects across Germany and the UK, including in the music industry, will ensure the highest standards continue to be delivered across The ACA's events. The ACA hosts numerous industry events throughout the year, including the recent Young Professionals' event, the Air Charter Expo (ACE) and European Networking Event, taking place at the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) this year in Geneva.
Glenn Hogben, CEO, The ACA, says: “I am delighted to welcome Malin to The ACA team. Malin's experience in co-ordinating and managing complex events will be crucial in enabling the association to further develop and deliver on its core initiatives, providing great value to members and the wider air charter industry. In 2025, The ACA Internship has grown to offer 15 placements to young people aged 18-25, and the Air Charter Broker Qualification has gone from strength to strength as we continue to expand our online training offering, delivering for the next generation of air charter professionals.”
Malin Junkers, events and training executive, The ACA, says: “I am excited to apply my skills to support the delivery of events, training courses and internship programmes at The ACA, while continuing to grow my knowledge of the air charter industry.”
Junkers has had a long-standing interest in aviation and is currently working towards her Private Pilot Licence (PPL) (A).
