Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), the specialist in ACJ VIP cabin completion and associated services, has just delivered and installed in less than 8 hours a VIP Conversion Kit in an Airbus A320 for an undisclosed customer, giving the aircraft a dual-role capability: VIP or commercial transport.

This VIP Conversion Kit allows conversion of the forward A320 passenger area into a spacious VIP section, giving customers the opportunity to have a multi-mission aircraft.

The elegant Kit includes two double-VIP seats and two Club-Four VIP seats, with Hi/Lo tables. To complement this VIP configuration and bring a warmer ambiance and greater privacy, the forward area also features partitions, high quality leather upholstery, woollen carpets and elegant curtains.

This VIP Conversion Kit, designed by ACJC, can be installed very easily within 8 hours. The configuration of the aircraft can be performed by any EASA Part 145 organisation or Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) certificated by its local authority. ACJC's Field Support Team can provide customers with all the tools and the support equipment required to perform such a change in the shortest possible time. ACJC can also provide training for the first configuration change.

ACJC is now installing provisions for subsequent installation of the kit for the same customer on a second A320 aircraft.
