Robert Conti has been named the new Vice President of Operations for Garrett's corporate headquarters and worldwide distribution center located in Buffalo, New York. Rob has played an integral role in reorganizing the shipping and receiving departments, tightening quality control standards, developing a new testing laboratory on site, managing Garrett's GREENGUARD Certification ProgramSM and overseeing Garrett's recent GSA Contract approval. He recently completed GREENGUARD's Train-the-Trainer program and is currently developing additional environmentally conscious programs to promote Garrett's "green" initiative.

With a background in leather testing and evaluation, Rob is a current member of LIA (Leather Industries of America) and a former member of ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) and AATCC (American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists), as well as a Designated Engineer Representative for the FAA.

Rob's extensive leather knowledge and over 20 years experience in the leather industry has helped Garrett achieve record sales. He is available for consultation to any manufacturers seeking to develop and/or improve their leather programs.
