ExecuJet names Yu Yubin General Manager China

As part of its sustained effort to seize new opportunities currently emerging in China, ExecuJet Aviation Group has promoted Mr Yu Yubin to General Manager, ExecuJet China. Based in ExecuJet's office in Beijing, Yubin reports to ExecuJet's Executive Director, Graeme Duckworth, on various business development projects currently underway in China. Yubin will also continue in his role as Aircraft Sales Director China for the immediate future, reporting through to Andrew Hoy, Managing Director Aircraft Sales. Yubin joined ExecuJet in September 2008 from an extensive career at Airbus and has been successfully involved in furthering the organisation's activity in the region since then.

ExecuJet recently completed the sale of its first business jet into China with a pre-owned Challenger 604 destined for a private individual from a Swiss operation. It is also negotiating several new enquiries from the region and with current expertise in CAAC requirements, is looking forward to delivering more to customers this year.

ExecuJet's Managing Director Aircraft Sales, Andrew Hoy, highlighted that a large growth market for business jet buyers at present is indeed in China, but commented that development of infrastructure and investment in maintenance facilities was still an area for improvement, "ExecuJet has considerable expertise in this sector and we are keen to explore more," he said, noting this is a three-to-five year plan for the company. "It is encouraging that 150 of the 400 airports in the country are now open to non-scheduled traffic," he noted

Andrew Hoy and Yu Yubin will be participating at this week's Reed Exhibitions' Asian Business Aviation show in Macau during 9-11th June.
