When it comes to dinner services for private jets and business aircraft, Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services GmbH will cooperate with the "Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur" Berlin (KPM) in future. In the run-up to the EBACE aviation convention, the management boards of the two companies have signed an appropriate agreement.
In future, Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM) and Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services GmbH (LBAS), international provider of maintenance services for Bombardier corporate aircraft, will cooperate on equipping private and corporate aircraft with quality porcelain settings and accessories.
KPM will provide individual and comprehensive advice to customers on behalf of LBAS. KPM Berlin advises on the creation of personal designs and the presentation of logos, armorial designs, monograms and signatures on porcelain products so that they blend with the look and feel of the colors and shapes in the aircraft interior.
"Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services is an excellent partner for our rich-in-tradition Berlin porcelain manufacturing. Our high quality products have spoken for themselves; in the future we will enrich the complete service offered by LBAS. The high quality of our craftsmanship fulfils individual customer wishes in fine porcelain products that are both innovative and airworthy. Our customers should experience luxury both in their daily lives and when they are travelling," says Dr. Winfried Vogler, Managing Director of Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin.
The specialists from KPM and LBAS can refer to the size and weight specifications of the various aircraft models as they apply their combined expertise to make unusual customer requests a reality. Sophisticated solutions for the safe transport and storage of the porcelain are a key focal point.
Andreas Kaden, Managing Director of Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services GmbH, emphasizes: "As well as technical perfection, the appearance has to be right as well. That is why we have selected Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin as our preferred partner for equipping our customers' aircraft with quality porcelain. The proximity of the factory to our headquarters at Berlin's new Schönefeld airport also simplifies personal consultation with our customers during the maintenance of the aircraft. The networking of our companies is also an example of the strengthening of Berlin as a commercial location."
