Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services GmbH (LBAS) has attained the highest level for continuing airworthiness as a certified Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). LBAS has received its CAMO approval by EASA, the Bermuda CAA and Cayman Islands CAA, the three authorities requiring CAMO compliance by aircraft operators. The CAMO certificate allows for LBAS to manage the continuing airworthiness of aircraft, including the privilege to issue recommendations and/or airworthiness review certificates after an airworthiness review as specified in M.A.710 under the CAMO+ approval for EASA aircraft.

LBAS offers the complete range of maintenance, maintenance planning, airworthiness management and airworthiness review to its customers. Private and commercial operators may subcontract the aforementioned services to LBAS and thus enhance their aircraft operation. Operators admitted under the Bermuda and Cayman Islands registers have been required to comply with CAMO rules since the beginning of 2010. EASA has required CAMO compliance since 2008.
