As a world leader in shading systems for VIP and business aviation, Vision Systems North America will present its latest innovations from high-end motorized shades to dimmable windows as well as solutions for privacy and personalization of passenger space at this year's NBAA-BACE, taking place in Orlando, Florida October 18t-20.

Vision Systems stays one step ahead in improving the passenger experience with its new solutions for ambiance creation and management.

The company will present a switchable projection display showing messages, images or videos. When nothing is displayed, this smart glass partition can remain transparent, or opaque (white or dark) to offer more privacy.

Another ambiance creation system will be revealed, based on a motorised double window shade with SPD dimmable solutions and mood lighting.

Depending on the chosen ambiance or specific moment of the journey, Vision Systems' ambiance management system generates the right atmosphere to offer the passenger a personalised experience. Through a tablet or control panel, the traveller can select a “mood”, such as reading, sleeping or waking up, leading to the automatic synchroniation of the shade, the dimmable windows and the lighting to create the perfect adequacy between the selected mood and the lighting atmosphere.

Each of Vision Systems' shading and light system can also be controlled separately.

Developed in-house based on Vision Systems' know-how in cabin management systems, the solution can integrate other elements of the cabin ambiance (image, sound, temperature) with individual or crew control.

SPD dimmable windows with distinctive characteristics and innovative features such as privacy, multi-segment for Venetian shade effect and integrated touch panel will be showcased.

They enable passengers to change the tint of their window from clear to dark to regulate daylight, glare and heat entering in.
