Press Release
Issued by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.
April 26, 2010
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. will showcase four of its business jets at the 10th annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) in Geneva. They are the wide-cabin, high-speed Gulfstream G150; the large-cabin, mid-range Gulfstream G200; the large-cabin, long-range Gulfstream G450; and the large-cabin, ultra-long-range Gulfstream G550.
In addition to the aircraft on static display May 4-6, one-tenth scale models of all aircraft, including the ultra-large-cabin, ultra-long-range G650 and the large-cabin, mid-range G250 currently in flight test, will be available for viewing at the company's 4,900-square-foot (450 sq. m) exhibit.
The company's media briefing, which will focus on the G250 and G650 programs, enhancements to the Gulfstream Product Support network and other news, will be from noon to 12:45 p.m. on Monday, May 3, in Palexpo, Hall 7, Meeting Room 2.
Additionally, the company will conduct an on-site Operators' Conference May 4 to provide updates and technical presentations on maintenance and operational subjects relevant to Gulfstream operators in Europe.
Several members of the company's senior leadership team will be on hand for the three-day European air show, including Joe Lombardo, president; Mark Burns, president, Product Support; Pres Henne, senior vice president, Programs, Engineering and Test; and Larry Flynn, senior vice president, Marketing and Sales.
"Since its inception in 2000, the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition has been an important event for Gulfstream," Flynn said. "With close to 200 aircraft, Europe has the largest installed fleet of Gulfstream aircraft outside of North America, so this event is an ideal opportunity for us to connect with a growing segment of operators. It also gives us a centralized location where we can demonstrate the reliability, availability, safety and technological advances of Gulfstream aircraft to a wide range of existing and potential customers."
