April 22, 2010

Jet Aviation Basel becomes the sole Honeywell HTF 7000 engine service center in Europe, Middle East and Africa region

Jet Aviation Basel is now the only authorized Honeywell service center for HTF 7000 engines in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The facility recently received EASA approval to maintain these engines.

As the only authorized Honeywell service center for the HTF 7000 turbofan engine in the Europe, Middle East and African region, Jet Aviation Basel recently received EASA approval to work on the engine. The company has already completed some limited work on the HTF 7000 in the past few months.

Hans-Peter Amacher, manager, Jet Aviation Basel engine shop, says, "This additional approval further enhances our service offerings on Honeywell engines. We have been a long-standing maintenance partner to Honeywell on engines, particularly the TFE731 and CFE738 types."

"We are happy to expand our services into the HTF 7000, which powers the Bombardier Challenger 300 and Gulfstream's new G250," Christof Spaeth, senior vice president MRO & FBO services for EMEA & Asia says. "The new approval allows us to better serve our customers as an "'one-stop' service provider, and to strengthen our global MRO network," He adds.
