France Air Expo to double size of exhibition in 2022

After a successful 2021 event, France Air Expo's return to Lyon has received the most exhibiting requests in the last ten years from the industry.

Manufacturers and service providers who have already confirmed their 2022 participation include Daher TBM, Kodiak, Cessna, Beechcraft, Textron, JMB Aviation, Diamond Aircraft, Bose, Tecnam, Piper Aircraft and Elixir Aircraft, to name just a few.

France Air Expo was the only general aviation exhibition in Europeto take place this year during the pandemic.

The organiser, Adone Events, has announced that Lyon is the preferred destination for exhibitors and aviation enthusiasts.

- An exhibition for the future of aviation: With the increase in manufacturers towards greener aviation, the exhibition will have a dedicated area for electric, hydrogen, hybrid propulsion and VTOL aircraft, and all the technological improvements that will promote the ecological transition of the general aviation sector.

- Lyon-Bron airport: a strategic choice: Lyon is France's second-largest city and one of its largest conurbations with Greater Lyon. It has two airports, Lyon-Bron and Lyon-St. Exupery and a high-speed train service that is less than 10 minutes from the city centre. In addition, there is a scheduled shuttle service between the station and Lyon airport. Lyon's hotel capacity is substantial, and the city's reputation for gastronomy will attract many pilots and enthusiasts.

Organised in partnership with key institutions of general aviation like FFA (French Aeronautical Federation), FFPLUM, French AOPA and many more, France Air Expo brings together the leading players in general aviation, offering customers the latest industrial innovations.

The exhibition is primarily aimed at attracting owners, pilots, flying clubs, enthusiasts and professionals from the world of general aviation. With more than 50,000 pilots and 35,000 aircraft, France is the second country in the world in the general aviation sector, after the USA.
