Jean-Philippe RENAUD has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer of ESMA. As the company is entering its next phase of development and growth, he takes over from Jean DURAND, who has been CEO of ESMA since March 2007 and was previously deputy CEO since February 2005.
This transition takes place as ESMA enters the next phase of its growth strategy and financial consolidation. This next phase will aim at differentiating ESMA in the aviation training market, and further emphasize on its Label of Quality and Excellence. This will include the further development of operational capabilities, service offerings, strategic partnerships and market penetration as well as continued efforts to raise efficiencies.
Jean-Philippe Renaud, 41, benefits from a large international experience of the aviation business, dealing with airlines, MROs and aircraft manufacturers. He was previously Managing Director of a consulting company focusing on advisory services to the aviation world, in particular in the growing segments of services. Before that, he has worked in various functions at Daimler Benz Aerospace, MTU Aero Engines, the EADS Group and EADS SOGERMA Services.
ESMA's shareholder is confident that Jean-Philippe Renaud will further lead ESMA to the next step of its development and success in aviation training.
