Epic Aircraft today announced that it has selected Las Vegas-based Lone Mountain Aviation & Avionics as its authorised service centre for the southwest US region.
Lone Mountain Aviation is the largest general aviation FAA Part 145 certified repair station in Nevada, with 50,000 square feet of hangar space, sophisticated tooling and equipment, and continuous factory authorised training programmes. Located at North Las Vegas Airport (KVGT) and Henderson Airport (KHND), Lone Mountain has provided the highest quality aircraft maintenance and repair services to the general aviation community since 1982.
“Lone Mountain's dedication to superb customer care sets it apart in the industry,” said Epic CEO, Doug King. “Not only is it exceptionally well trained and equipped, its focus is on optimising the entire customer experience, not just on supporting the needs of the airplane. That type of service-oriented culture complements ours at Epic.”
Epic Aircraft received FAA type certification for its award winning E1000 model in November 2019. Powered by the Pratt & Whitney Canada 1,200-horsepower PT6A-67A engine, the all-carbon fibre single-engine turboprop cruises at 333 knots, climbs at 4,000 feet per minute, operates up to 34,000 feet and offers a full fuel payload of 1,100 pounds. The next generation E1000 GX is equipped with the Garmin GFC 700 digital flight control system and Hartzell five-blade composite propeller.
“Lone Mountain Aviation is proud to become a partner in support of this new-age aircraft. We are confident Epic Aircraft owners will be impressed by our world-class customer service experience that even the most discriminating owner/operators will appreciate,” commented Kenny Scherado, president and founder of Lone Mountain Aviation.
Lone Mountain will be authorised to provide inspection, maintenance and repair services for the Epic E1000, the Epic E1000 GX, as well as the legacy experimental Epic LT.
Epic is finalising agreements with additional service centre partners to establish a nationwide service network, providing coverage spanning all U.S. time zones and strategic geographies.
