Pentastar Aviation, a leader in the world of business aviation, has announced the appointment of Mark Schenkel to the position of vice president of finance.

Schenkel, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and member of the Michigan Association of CPAs, joined Pentastar in 2015 as controller, reporting to president and CEO Greg Schmidt. In his new role, Schenkel will be responsible for all strategic financial initiatives and oversee all financial operations and information technology activities of Pentastar Aviation and Pentastar Aviation Charter, Inc.

“Mark's contributions to Pentastar over the last six years and his roots in the world of accounting and finance have brought Pentastar invaluable management perspective,” said Schmidt. “His leadership will allow us to continue to grow strategically and profitably and ensure the highest levels of accuracy in our financial reporting to internal and external customers.”
