Avidyne strengthens sales organisation for growth

Avidyne Corporation has announced the following organisational changes in its sales organisation to better serve its dealers and current customers while expanding into new and emerging markets.

“We are pleased to announce these additions and appointments to bolster our sales leadership and strengthen our sales team for growth,” said John Talmadge, who was appointed vice president of worldwide sales in 2019.

In July 2020, Dan Reida joined Avidyne as director of business aviation sales. Dan had previously spent more than 30 years with Universal Avionics where he was most recently the vice president of sales, marketing and support.

In October 2020, Bryan Kahl was promoted to senior director of North American sales and customer experience. Bryan has been with Avidyne since 2018, and previously managed support and customer experience as director.

Jorge Hernandez was promoted to director of international and government sales in February 2021. Jorge originally joined Avidyne in 2019 as a technical support representative. Jorge brings extensive active duty military experience as an A&P on helicopters.

Steve Lawson, who has been with Avidyne since 2018, will lead its turbine and helicopter fleet sales. Steve came to Avidyne from Aspen Avionics and most recently covered the Western region.

Dale Ferrer, who joined Avidyne in 2017 in technical support and later inside sales, now covers sales in the Western region of North America.

Macie Dann joined Avidyne in 2019 as an inside sales coordinator and now handles sales in the Eastern region of North America.
