Hunt&Palmer, one of the world's leading independent aircraft broking companies, has this week concluded negotiations to open its15th office in Mumbai, India.
The move is part of extensive global expansion plans which has seen openings in Hong Kong and the USA in the last year alone. The new foothold in India will allow Hunt&Palmer to continue developing the markets in Asia and play a leading role in the local expansion of the private aviation sector.
In line with Hunt&Palmer's firm belief in the value of local presence and knowledge, the broker has appointed established Mumbai based company Kompass Aviation.
Specialising in aircrew training and airline sales, Kompass Aviation's air charter business will now be branded as Hunt&Palmer. Their current operation is headed up by Director Des Rodrigues, a trained commercial pilot whose extensive aviation experience with major international airlines will contribute significantly to the development of Hunt&Palmer's new venture in the region.

Hunt&Palmer's Indian activity will be overseen by Peter Atkinson, Director of Hunt&Palmer Australia, who has recently been appointed Regional Commercial Manager for the Asia and Pacific Rim countries.
