OSAC is proud to present an English language version of its Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) regarding the regulatory changes introduced by regulation (EU) 2019/1383 and (EU) 2020/170 for aircraft maintenance and continuing airworthiness.
Developed by DGAC, the French aviation authority, the course has been used to comply with training requirements for its airworthiness inspectors. It also has been made available to the French aviation industry and aircraft owners in order to cope with the new regulation.
This MOOC is an interactive training course containing video and multimedia sequences, exercises, multiple choice questions and supplementary training material. Each trainee can follow the course according to their own rhythm, whenever and wherever they want to.
Today, OSAC is providing this MOOC to foreign civil aviation authorities, aviation industry and aircraft owners who have to comply with the EASA regulation all around the world.
What is the essence of the new regulation? What does it change in practice? Do I need to apply for a new approval? This course will answer all those questions, no matter if you are a Part-M/G, Part-M/F or Part-145 approved organisation. This training is also essential for airworthiness review staff, aircraft owners and flying club members.
The course is divided into five modules, which can be followed in any order:
1. Introduction (around 40 minutes)
2. Part-CAMO (around three hours 50 minutes)
3. Part-CAO (around two hours 20 minutes)
4. Part-M (around two hours 20 minutes)
5. Part-ML (around two hours 20 minutes)
At the end of each module, except for the introduction, a certificate will be awarded; if the score is above 75% a pass certificate will be issued, if notthe sitter will receive an attendance certificate.
The Introductory module is free of charge. The prices of the other modules are indicated on the OSAC website homepage.
