Jet Aviation Hong Kong receives JMM (Joint Maintenance Management) approval to work on China- and Macau-registered aircraft in Hong Kong

Jet Aviation Hong Kong has received JMM approval from CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) and AACM (Macau ) to work on China- and Macau- registered aircraft in Hong Kong. This is one of four approvals the facility has received in the past year to support its growing clientele.

Jet Aviation Hong Kong recently received approval from the JMM (Joint Maintenance Management) to work on Chinese-registered and Macau registered aircraft in Hong Kong. This approval is one of the four maintenance approvals the facility has received in the past year. Recently, the facility was also named an FAA repair station (#6JAY388B), allowing the company to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, airframe and engine repairs, avionics modifications, inspections and defect rectifications on U.S.-registered aircraft. The facility also became a Hong Kong CAD and Cayman CAACI approved repair station, which enables the company to provide scheduled maintenance services in addition to line maintenance and AOG support.

According to Nigel Parker, director of maintenance Jet Aviation Hong Kong, "The JMM approval provides us with more flexibility with dealing with aircraft in the region. With more aircraft going into mainland China, and not a lot of maintenance facilities present, we will benefit from this approval by being the closest base outside of the mainland where service can be carried out."

Jet Aviation Hong Kong was initially established as the company's aircraft management and charter division for Asia and currently manages more than 10 privately owned aircraft. The charter department maintains a 24/7 operation and holds its own Aircraft Operator Certificate (AOC). Since May 2008, the facility performs line maintenance for Hong Kong registered aircraft and AOG support and also services aircraft registered in 12 other countries through Jet Aviation's maintenance approvals in Singapore which include FAA #J8MY465N, EASA 145 #CH.145.0232, Aruba DCA, Australian CASA, Bermuda DCA, Cayman CAA, Indonesia DGAC, Macao MAR-145, Malaysia DCA, Philippines ATO, Singapore CAAS and Thailand DOA.
