Sikorsky's Associated Aircraft Group adds first S-76D to fleet

Associated Aircraft Group, the US east coast's premier executive helicopter service, has announced the addition of its tenth Sikorsky S-76 helicopter to its fleet. It is the first S-76D helicopter to join the fleet and the first ever D-model available for charter in the country. AAG has the largest fleet of Sikorsky S-76 aircraft available for charter and fractional ownership in the northeast of the country. AAG is wholly owned by Sikorsky, a Lockheed Martin company.

The newest addition to AAG's fleet is an executive-configured VIP helicopter, with a finely appointed and spacious eight passenger luxury interior. It is equipped with modern technology and builds on the safety, reliability and efficiency established by a long legacy of the S-76 family of aircraft. Sikorsky's exclusive active vibration control and Quiet Zone transmission technology provide extraordinarily smooth and quiet cabin conditions allowing normal conversations.

“We are extremely excited to add the D-model to our fleet,” said AAG president John Gow. “It is a much anticipated and welcomed addition and shows AAG's continued growth as a prominent leader in the industry. We are proud to have the newest Sikorsky model and look forward to current and future clients experiencing its capabilities.”

For more than four decades, corporate executives and heads of state have recognized the S-76 helicopter as the standard of excellence for personal transportation. Since 1977, Sikorsky has delivered more than 180 VIP-configured S-76 helicopters, and 10 nations have selected the S-76 to provide head of state transportation.

The aircraft will build upon AAG's already significant east coast presence, while giving customers the opportunity to experience the newest S-76 available. For 30 years AAG has been expanding its footprint, with aircraft in five locations: Bridgeport, Connecticut, Wappingers Falls, New York, Providence, Rhode Island, and Teterboro and Trenton, New Jersey.
