On 1 and 2 of August the VII Baltic Business Aviation Forum took place in Jurmala in Latvia. The forum was organised under auspices of the Russian United Business Aviation Association (RUBAA) and the Latvian Aviation Association (LAA).

The sponsors of the Forum were Flight Consulting Group, FBO Riga, Jet Flight Service, Sealine Insurance Brokers, San Marino Aircraft Registry, Fort Aero. Forum partners were Riga International Airport and NaJet.

This year the event gathered a record number of participants: over 70 guests from CIS and EU participated in BBAF and provided the most positive feedback.

The Forum maintainsed the same structure used in previous years; the business part was represented by a conference, airport tour and a visit to FBO Riga; time for networking was provided during an evening reception at the Baltic Beach Hotel and Spa's five star chalet on the strand and a city tour to old Riga on the second day.

Interest in the event is maintained by annually updating the contents of the conference. This year such topics as Baltic States business aviation statistics, the development of Riga Airport, customs clearance for business aviation aircraft, business jets flights online booking and sales systems, and passenger transportation by means of helicopter and business jet were discussed.

It is obvious, that despite the summer period, BBAF has become an important and well attended event, with the purpose of promoting information and experience exchange, business networking and the development of international contacts in the field of business aviation. BBAF 2019 has successfully completed all its tasks.

VIII BBAF is planned for August 2020.
