West Star Aviation is committed to the overall safety of its employees and customers alike. As part of this commitment, the company recently completed its latest safety update at its Grand Junction, Colorado (GJT) facility with the introduction of a fully integrated fall protection system. As the company-wide initiative continues, all four of the company's full-service locations will be 90% complete by the end of 2019 and 100% complete by the close of 2020.
"We will continue to invest in overall safety for our customers and employees while making West Star's safety a top priority," said Rodger Renaud, president and COO.
In addition to the safety initiatives being implemented company-wide, West Star's Grand Junction, Aspen and Denver facilities have been awarded a Cost Containment Certificate for the fifth year in a row by the state of Colorado, based on their impeccable safety records.
"We are proud to be awarded this certificate another year, and we continue to work diligently to improve our safety standards at every opportunity," stated Kraig Meyer, director of EHS, West Star Aviation.
