Dart Aerospace is proud to announce its new 240 and 260 USG models of the DART firefighting bucket.

During last year's HAI Heli-Expo show in Vegas, Dart launched its first 320 USG model of the Dart firefighting bucket, also announcing the company's entry into the firefighting market.

After extensive testing of the first 320 USG model and multiple units delivered both domestically and internationally Dart has now developed two new sizes of the bucket. “With buckets ranging from 240 to 320 US gallons, we can satisfy a good chunk of the firefighting market,” states Steve Ghaleb, VP of commercial operations with Dart. "However, we have a full product development roadmap of sizes and features we want to develop in the coming months and years to further grow our offering.”

These 240 and 260 USG units, just like the first model, present weight savings compared to similar products available on the market. With these new sizes, operators of lighter categories of helicopters, such as the Airbus AS350 or Bell lights, have a Dart option for firefighting buckets as do those with larger helicopters operating in hot and high conditions.

Both 240 & 260 USG Dart firefighting buckets will be available in the coming weeks.
