Press Release
Issued by McLarens Aviation.
December 10, 2009
We are delighted to announce that Airclaims has been granted EASA, part M, subpart I approval which allows us as an organisation to recommend the issue and renewal of Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC) on behalf of the Aviation Authority.
In addition, we have also received Bermudan, Part 39, Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) approval, complementing our existing Cayman and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) CAMO capability.
Peter Bull, Director, Risk and Asset Management commented; "Our increasing range of continued airworthiness services, combined with our in-house surveyors, powerplant and project managers, has created a genuine single source solution for our clients.
During recent aircraft recoveries this increased capability has allowed us to deal with every aspect of the process. This ranged from quickly bringing our client's aircraft into our own controlled airworthiness environment, designing maintenance programmes and issuing bridging maintenance work packs, through to liaising with the new owners and dealing with the Export Certificate of Airworthiness requirements."
Mark Hunter, Managing Director of the Airclaims Group added; "This level of regulatory and airworthiness expertise within our risk and asset management division also adds considerable value to other areas of our business. This is especially so in the case of complex insurance claims, involving aircraft technical records reconstruction and the preparation of inventories prior to disposing of salvage on behalf of aviation insurers."
