Stevens Aerospace and Defense Systems to add Macon, Georgia location

Stevens Aerospace and Defense Systems will expand its operations to Macon, Georgia.

Stevens Aerospace, headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, with significant MRO operations in Greenville as well as Dayton, Ohio and Nashville, Tennessee will move its large cabin aircraft maintenance, avionics and interiors business from Donaldson Center Airport in Greenville to the former Bombardier hangar at Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MCN) in Macon. Under the direction of Rick Screen, Stevens' large cabin aircraft business has grown rapidly. Relocating the large cabin business to Macon will provide more space for Stevens' current large cabin customers as well as provide room for other business as Stevens plans its future capacity options at Donaldson Center Airport.

Neal McGrail, Stevens Aerospace CFO said, “Stevens is pleased to have additional and dedicated space for our large cabin customers and be less dependent on our Greenville facility for meeting customer requirements in the southeastern U.S.”

Stevens Aerospace will begin serving customers at the Macon facility in January 2019.
