Effective 1 June 2007, the Oberpfaffenhofen-based RUAG Aerospace Services GmbH was given approval by the LBA (German Office of Civil Aeronautics) as a CAMO+ facility (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization).

The company received the appropriate certificate subsequent to three successful audits conducted by the LBA in Oberpfaffenhofen in April and May of this year.

As a CAMO+ organization, RUAG Aerospace Services is officially entitled to provide, with immediate effect, for operators of commercial and noncommercial transport, who are being supported by RUAG Aerospace Services, the CAMO service, i. e. the management for the monitoring of continued airworthiness.

Appropriate CAMO agreements can be made from now on.
