For the first time, Lufthansa Technik Switzerland (LTSW) has performed maintenance services on an Embraer Legacy 600. The extensive work package included numerous calender and flight hour limited work tasks which have been carried out according to plan, resulting in a successful handover to the Swiss customer.
Within the Lufthansa Technik Group the Switzerland-based subsidiary is the only facility providing maintenance services for Embraer 135/145 and Legacy jets. Vast experience with this aircraft type has been built up over the past years with numerous projects for commercial operators.
Rainer Lindau, Chief Executive Officer of LTSW, is delighted that this know-how can now be extended to the VIP segment: "The Embraer Legacy fits perfectly into our VIP & Executive Jet Services portfolio. We were pleased to demonstrate our expertise with this first Legacy maintenance project”, he points out.
Due to the specific know-how and a large stock of spare parts for Embraer aircraft the company is able to offer immediate availability of all kinds of services and parts – valuable asset resulting in top maintenance quality with short turnaround times for the customers.
