Jean-Luc Alfonsi named as new vice president of business and services of Helibras

Jean-Luc Alfonsi has been announced as the new vice president of business and services at Helibras, the only manufacturer of helicopters in Brazil and of turbine types in Latin America. He replaces Dominique Andreani, who has become the new chief of staff for the CEO of Airbus Helicopters. Alfonsi has more than 20 years of experience in the Airbus group in corporate and subsidiary management, having worked in the development of new management programmes and sales and customer support areas.

"Jean-Luc has all the skills necessary to follow up on the great work that Helibras has been doing in Brazil. His vast experience in various areas of Airbus and strategic vision will make a valuable contribution to our team. I would also like to thank Dominique for the years of contribution and success on our side, "says Richard Marelli, president of Helibras and head of country of Airbus in Brazil.

Alfonsi, who was previously CEO of Airbus Helicopters in Indonesia, was recently challenged with heading the transformation project of Airbus Helicopters, involving 25 company subsidiaries and 5,000 employees. Among his key contributions are the leadership of a task force to improve the group's market capturing, customer satisfaction and cost-cutting efficiency.

Jean-Luc Alfonsi has a degree in International Business Management from the Marseille-Provence Graduate Business School (KEDGE), and has a master's degree in Science, Business Intelligence and Programme Management from the Sophia-Antipolis Graduate Business School CERAM (SKEMA) in France.
