Universal Avionics (UA) is exhibiting with Elbit Systems, Ltd. at the Helitech International Helicopter Expo and Conference for the first time since the April 2018 acquisition of UA by Elbit Systems. The two companies are working together, moving forward in the market to bring enhanced safety to helicopter operators.

"The acquisition places UA in a position that significantly increases the potential for growth with the backing of Elbit Systems," said Dan Reida, UA vice president of sales, marketing, and support. "Complimentary products from both companies offer added value to our existing and future customers," he added. "With UA's increased focus on providing highly sought-after avionics options for the rotorcraft market coupled with Elbit System's head-up product offering, we're able to present high value solutions for this market segment."

During Helitech International, UA director of technical sales, Grady Dees, will be presenting a Technology Showcase, highlighting the InSight Display System for helicopters. The presentation will also detail how UA plans to integrate the InSight Display System with Elbit Systems' Heli-ClearVision Head-Wearable Display (HWD)/ Helmet-Mounted Display (HMD) and Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) solution, allowing both systems to work together to provide significant safety enhancements to both the rotorcraft and fixed wing markets. Attendees are invited to join the presentation on October 17, 2018 from 12:30-12:50pm in the Amsterdam RAI Technology Showcase Theatre.
