PATS Aircraft Systems (PATS), a division of DeCrane Aerospace, is pleased to announce that the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the VIP interior of the third Embraer Lineage 1000 interior completed by PATS Aircraft has been approved by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). The US FAA approved the interior STC on November 4, 2009 with ANAC and EASA approving the STC on November 18, 2009.
The first Lineage 1000 VIP interior STC was originally approved by the FAA, EASA, ANAC and the United Arab Emirates' General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) in January of 2009. The second Lineage 1000 VIP interior STC was approved by the same agencies in May of 2009.
The Lineage 1000 interior STC was designed, manufactured and installed by PATS at its Georgetown, DE facility. The interior incorporates the DeCrane Aerospace Total Cabin Capability® with fully integrated components from the DeCrane Aerospace group of companies including cabinetry from Precision Pattern Interiors, Cabin Management System from Audio International and VIP seating by DeCrane Aerospace Aircraft Seating.
