Rotortrade, a leading independent helicopter dealer and sole global distributor of Leonardo's pre-owned helicopters has announced solid results for the first half of 2018.

The international helicopter dealer and distributor Rotortrade has continued its strong growth with 12 deliveries and nine backlogs across manufacturers, class and mission for the first half of the year. The company has also secured new exclusive mandates for 16 helicopters for the same period.

Rototrade has signed three new network agreements with Mode Aviation in Guatemala, Gualter Helicopteros in Brazil and a third to be announced shortly. These partnerships are pivotal to Rotortrade's global expansion strategy.

“We are getting stronger and stronger in our home markets of Asia-Pacific, South America and Europe and are pursuing our growth strategy in these regions as well as others without losing sight of our values and low cost and proximity model. This enables us to offer the most suitable products and services at the best prices to our customers globally with a local perspective,” says Philippe Lubrano, Rotortrade president.

“Overall sales for the year are expected to be in line to last year's record 26 helicopter sales while the product mix should favour more twin-engine helicopters, including some heavies.
