In today's tough aviation business climate, hard work and superior service determine the winners. MCA Aviation of Shoreham-by-the-Sea, West Sussex, has not only survived, but thrived. They are celebrating their fifth year in business, providing maintenance, repair and modifications for owner and operators of King Air and Piper aircraft.
MCA Aviation currently tops Blackhawk Modifications's stable of 35 distributors worldwide. MCA has been a distributor for the leading turboprop upgrade company for three years.
Jim Allmon, Blackhawk president and CEO, along with Bobby Patton, Blackhawk director of distributor development, congratulated Malcom Craft, MCA general manager, during a recent tour of European distributors. "We're thrilled to see Malcolm and his team again. It's a pleasure to witness his enthusiasm for aviation performance and value he's providing his customers. We've developed a close working relationship with Malcolm - actually, it's more of a close personal relationship because he's such a strong advocate for Blackhawk and aviation in general. We love having MCA represent Blackhawk on this side of the pond."
Craft recalls, "Three years ago some of our competitors followed trends into the VLJ market – however, MCA Aviation took the initiative in providing our existing and expanding Beech King Air customer base with performance upgrades. Blackhawk's Pratt & Whitney XPR upgrades 'ticked all the boxes' for us as an established company providing proven performance increases with good back-up and technical expertise."
"As far as MCA are concerned, our relationship with Blackhawk as an International Install and Service centre has far exceeded our expectations as Blackhawk always seem to add that 'little bit more' in support of our customers. We continue to share successes with our friends in Waco, Texas, and I believe our success is partly attributed to Blackhawk and MCA's common goal of total commitment to customer satisfaction."
"MCA looks forward to celebrating our fifth anniversary with Jim Allmon and his team along with our other USA based suppliers," Craft concluded.
