Qatar Airways has appointed Joe Beattie to the position of Airport Services Manager at London Heathrow Airport.

Beattie joins Qatar Airways from O.F.J. Connections, Heathrow's premier coach company, where he worked as Operations Director from July 2005. Previously, he spent almost eight years with Virgin Atlantic Airways, ensuring the smooth running of operations as Airport Manager at Both Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

With over 20 years experience, Beattie brings with him a vast knowledge of the industry, enhanced by his role as Chairman of the AOC (Airlines Operation Committee) during his time at Virgin Atlantic Airways in Gatwick.
