PremiAir shortlisted for Business Travel Award

PremiAir, the leading executive helicopter charter operator, has been included on the shortlist of the 2010 Business Travel Awards.  The company is named as a finalist in the category for 'Best Executive Aviation Company' in the UK's most respected business travel industry honours.

PremiAir has scooped the title for four consecutive years with Buying Business Travel and now the Awards have been amalgamated with the Business Travel World awards, through Panacea Publishing's takeover of the title, the competition is going to be a lot tougher.  "We are, of course, delighted to be shortlisted," said David McRobert, PremiAir's Group Managing Director.  "PremiAir has continued to be at the forefront of the industry, introducing new initiatives and expanding the business over the last 12-months, despite the challenges the industry as a whole has faced."

PremiAir's popular London Heliport Shuttle Service was introduced in February providing a seamless connection between key business airports throughout the UK, and in May PremiAir became the European launch customer of 'Aurion', a prestigious new service providing the only international network of best-in-class executive helicopter operators.

von Essen Hotels, PremiAir's sister company has also been shortlisted for the Business Travel Award for 'Best Small or Independent Hotel Brand'.  von Essen is currently constructing the five star Hotel Verta, due for completion in early 2010, which will be integrated with the new passenger terminal at The London Heliport, which is managed and operated by PremiAir.  The state-of-the-art terminal facilities will providing a full range of services more often seen at the highest quality private jet handling locations - all in the centre of London at the capital's only dedicated heliport.  "The much updated London Heliport will change the image of executive helicopter travel and will be a world first for the executive helicopter industry," said David McRobert.

The Business Travel Awards ceremony and gala dinner takes place on 18 January 2010 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
