Five months ago fuel retailer and distributor, Gulf, entered the aviation fuels supply market, and its steadily growing business has now passed another landmark with the signing of a long term supply agreement at Kemble Airport, Gloucestershire. Gulf, once a pioneer of aviation fuels development in the United States and winner of many major air races in the late thirties, is the first new entrant into the UK aviation market for more than 25 years with small regional airports and general aviation the focus of its business model.
“We are delighted that Kemble has chosen Gulf Aviation as their new Avgas and Jet A1 supplier,” explains Paul Muncey, General Manager, Gulf Aviation. “The airport and its Directors have vision and a refreshing style of operation and we look forward to supporting their business development over the coming years.”
Gulf, whose forecourt support programmes have received national acclaim, is investing in new storage tanks and refuelling bowsers at the airport, and is also providing assistance at the popular Kemble Airshow which takes place over the weekend of 20/21 June.
“These are exciting times at Kemble Airport and we are pleased to announce our new partnership with Gulf Aviation,” confirms Lee Paul, Commercial Director, Kemble Airport. “We look forward to building a strong and fruitful working relationship together".
