Grob Aerospace is showcasing the brand new interior designed by Porsche Design Studio aboard the full size cabin and cockpit mock-up of its spn. It will be displayed for the first time at EBACE 2007 in Geneva, hall 6, Stand No 1277.
This is the first time that Porsche Design Studio has applied its philosophy and design to the interior of a business jet. The design has been inspired by the clean lines of high end automotive interiors, featuring the finest high-quality material including high gloss wood veneer, metal finishing, alcantara and soft leather, complemented by luxury carpeting. The spn cabin mock-up displaying at EBACE also features new fully articulated seats from Geven, the Italian seating and interiors manufacturer chosen as supplier for the Executive layout.
Commenting on the interior, Grob Aerospace CEO Niall Olver said: "Porsche Design Studio has fully grasped how we envisaged the cabin experience will be for our discerning customers. It is optimising space, providing passenger comfort and gives the spn a truly distinctive look. "We are very pleased with the new interior and delighted to show it off at Europe's premier business aviation Show," said Roland Heiler, Managing Director of Porsche Design Studio. Our mission was to create an environment that reflected calm, elegance, comfort and functionality."
After EBACE, Grob Aerospace is taking the spn cabin mock-up to the US, where it will first be shown at the EAA Airventure in Oshkosh.
