As part of Signature Flight Support's mission to supply customers with a personalized experience, Signature unveiled a new website at NBAA. "With a new look and easy to find resources, pilots, schedulers and dispatchers can quickly locate the information needed to plan a flight" stated Patrick Sniffen, Vice President Marketing for Signature Flight Support. The site features a quick look up search tool to locate any of Signature's 102 worldwide locations. In addition the site features mapping from Microsoft's Bing mapping tool allowing the user to easily locate, produce directions to and from the FBO and locate any of Signature's service partners such as area hotels, restaurants and attractions.
The site features a proprietary fuel pricing calculator for pilots and flight planners to quickly determine the fuel price for a particular airport, aircraft and uplift amount. "You simply search for the airport you'd like, input your aircraft make and model and your uplift amount and your tiered pricing is displayed", stated Sniffen. "We feel that this new tool gives the operator a transparent view on fuel pricing", he continues, "future developments will allow the registered user who has a fleet, tenant or individual pricing agreement with Signature to calculate customized pricing in real time. We expect this to go live in the next couple of months" stated Sniffen.
"We expect the site to become a regular tool in the pilot's flight bag" stated David Best, Signature's Chief Commercial Officer, "we'll continue to set the pace for industry leading customer service offerings."
