Eurocopter China and Hua-Ou Aviation Support Centre sign a contract at Aviation Expo for the management of helicopter spare parts in China

Eurocopter China and Hua-Ou Aviation Support Centre are pleased to announce today the signature of a contract for the import and distribution of helicopter spare parts in China.

The signature of this contract is a step taken towards increased synergies between EADS (European Aeronautics and Space) Divisions and business affiliates i.e. Eurocopter, Airbus and Hua-Ou - a joint venture between Airbus and China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS).

Mr. Bruno Boulnois, CEO of Eurocopter China declares at this occasion, “We are delighted at this cooperation with our local partner, thanks to which the lead-time and cost of delivery of our spare parts will be significantly reduced. Efficient and rapid service is extremely important for our Chinese customers who operate their helicopters mainly for offshore operations, law enforcement as well as Search and Rescue missions”.

Raymond Lim, General Manager of Hua-Ou Aviation Training and Support Centre, states, “This cooperation with Eurocopter builds on the success of Hua-Ou, our service centre in Beijing.

Established since 1996, we have a staff-strength of 110 employees and an extensive logistics network

covering Shanghai; Chengdu; Shenyang; Guangzhou; Shenzhen; Xian; Haikou; Dalian; Zhuhai and other major cities in Mainland China. Our objective is to ensure maximum satisfaction for our customers

who run an extremely high volume of air traffic throughout the country on a daily basis.”
