FAA certification is imminent for several new EMTEQ STCs (supplemental type certificates), including approvals for ADS-B installation on Saab 340B aircraft; UNS-1L FMS (flight management system) installation on the Shorts 360; and installation of EMTEQ's own line of Elements™ Seat Heaters for King Air aircraft. Other new STCs include ELS installations on the Boeing 727; a 22-channel flight recorder upgrade for Boeing 727 aircraft; TAWS (terrain awareness and warning system) installations on Lockheed-Martin L-382 aircraft; and RAAS (runway awareness advisory system) certifications for Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft. The New Berlin, WI-based avionics & lighting systems integrator already holds more than 30 type certifications with the FAA, EASA and other international certification offices.

"These STCs are important for a couple of reasons: First, they demonstrate EMTEQ's ability and desire to continually expand our repertoire of engineering design capability for a wide range of aircraft models.
