Tailwind Capital LLC and Global Principal Finance Co., LLC are pleased to announce that their completion partner, PATS Aircraft LLC, has received European EASA Supplemental Type Certification for the Hemisphere 200XR VIP interior and auxiliary fuel system. TheHemisphere 200XR received US FAA certification in June 2009 after satisfying all FAA certification requirements, including SFAR 88.
Based on the venerable CRJ-200 platform, the Hemisphere 200XR is a conversion program in cooperation with Delaware-based completion specialists PATS Aircraft. The Hemisphere 200XR project was originally developed by Tailwind and its investment partner Global Principal Finance Co. LLC. The firstHemisphere 200XR was delivered to Solid aiR in July and is currently in operation with the Netherlands-based charter operator. PATS will deliver two more completed Hemisphere 200XR's this year for Tailwind and GPFC.
The Hemisphere 200XR is an ultra-large cabin, private jet that offers a unique combination of highest standards of luxury, affordability and timely delivery. The Hemisphere is expertly converted from well-maintained, low-time Bombardier CRJ-200LR aircraft. Each Hemisphere 200XR features a comprehensive avionics suite, an exceptional service record and is current on inspections and airworthiness directives. Additionally, the PATS auxiliary fuel system allows for a range of up to 3,000nm.

The baseline Hemisphere 200XR offers a 15-passenger layout with customer-selected interior finishes, the PATS auxiliary fuel system and a new, custom exterior livery. Customers taking advantage of 2010 delivery positions will have the ability to fully customize their aircraft and take delivery within 10 months.
