European wide alliance of executive jet operators announced

The launch of Jetworld, a European alliance of executive jet operators, was announced today at a conference at London Oxford Airport and Rotterdam International Airport.

The Jetworld alliance partners include UK based Ambeo PLC, PrivatAir based in Switzerland and Sky-Taxi based in The Netherlands who have commenced operations in October 2008 and are celebrating their first anniversary.

Jetworld was designed to maximise network coverage and aircraft availability. "Our customers will have direct access to a fleet spread across Europe" according to Dr Frank Noppel, CEO of Ambeo PLC, based at the Marshall Business Aviation Centre in Cambridge launching services later this year.

The Dutch Minister of Transport, Camiel Eurlings, congratulated the participating alliance partners: "This alliance underlines the importance of the business aviation sector in The Netherlands and across Europe."
