Dallas Airmotive appoints Dan Avicola as general manager of Lafayette facility

Dallas Airmotive has appointed Dan Avicola as General Manager of its Lafayette, Louisiana component repair facility where he will be responsible for day-to-day operations. The Lafayette facility performs component repair of Rolls-Royce 250, Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 and JT15D engines.

"Dan has a real hands-on feel for the repair work we do in Lafayette," commented Dallas Airmotive Senior Vice President of Business Operations, Nandu Madireddi. "Having worked extensively with the Rolls-Royce 250 and other engine lines in Neosho and with his demonstrated leadership capability, he is a welcome addition to our growing presence in Lafayette."

Avicola comes to the position via the company's Premier Turbines division where he started in July, 2000 as 2nd shift supervisor. He later was promoted to Supervisor of Rolls-Royce 250/J85/J69/CJ610 engine lines for two years. He then supervised the TFE731 product line and, most recently, was Production Supervisor for all engine lines at Neosho including the GG4 and Avon industrial turbines.
