SkyTrac Systems is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the AFAC Bushfire CRC Conference on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia from September 22-24, 2009 with Absolute Fire Solutions (AFS). At the show, Judy Meier, Sr. Sales Manager, SkyTrac Systems, and Steve Matthews, President and CEO, AFS will launch a leading edge integration designed specifically for operators conducting Aerial Firefighting missions.
The SkyTrac/Absolute Fire Solutions integration enables operators to view data from on board systems in real time. Data from operational systems such as water buckets, belly tanks, and remote hooks is collected by AFS's new FASTTrack system and transmitted to SkyTrac's data center via the Iridium Satellite Network in real time. This integration provides operators access to pick up/drop off information such as water volume, weight, drop pattern, and retardant mix ratios. Users view data on SkyWeb, SkyTrac's web based ground station software.
Kathleen Wallace, President and CEO of SkyTrac Systems commented; "the SkyTrac/Absolute Fire Solutions integration provides operators with timely, accurate, and reliable data never before available." Matthews said; "fire agencies worldwide are now beginning to request accurate fill and drop data to improve their own capabilities and efficiencies – FASTTrack is the first product available to operators which can provide this data across the wide spectrum of buckets and tanks currently in use." "We are excited to work with AFS and look forward to demonstrating this solution to aerial firefighting operators at the show" added Wallace.
