Very Light Jets- Europe, 24/25 September – London Oxford Airport

The entry level business jet and light jet sector will gather on 24 and 25 September at London Oxford Airport for the 3rd annual Very Light Jet – Europe conference, organised by MIU events. The extensive programme offers attendees an in depth and highly focused opportunity to discuss, debate and explore regulatory, legal, funding, taxation, registration, insurance and operational issues related to the VLJ market. The schedule will also cover understanding the realities of owning and operating small jets, and explore how different charter and air taxi business models are holding up in one of the most challenging markets the aviation industry has ever experienced.

The afternoon of Day one offers delegates the opportunity to hear presentations from six different operators – JetBird, Blink, London Executive Aviation, Ambeo, Grossmann Jet Service and CFM. The afternoon will end with an interactive "Question Time" panel session, moderated by Charles Alcock, where leading industry personalities address some of the key issues of the moment. - VLJ or ELJ, dealing with negative media coverage and what is the future for the VLJ market in Europe?

The second day's sessions will focus on a variety of subjects including the challenges of aircraft and fleet management, flight planning, efficiency models, VAT in Europe, and an examination of what's required from infrastructure development. There will also be presentations from manufacturers and jet pilot training experts. An optional workshop sponsored by CFM will take place on Friday afternoon, 25 September. Entitled The search for a break-out formula it will debate the challenges facing operators wishing to create a sustainable light jet market place, and will discuss the best practices that could lead to success as a light jet operator. The air taxi debate, its viability and sustainability will be discussed through the afternoon workshop. The delegate fee includes entry to all the sessions including the evening reception at the end of Day one and this optional workshop.

The third annual VLJ-Europe conference will be the essential meeting place for any operator, government agency, manufacturer, regional airport and planning authority, regulatory body, industry association, aviation lawyer, funding agency, FBO organisation, support and service organisation, pilot, consultant or any company with an interest or awareness of the potential for this market.
