First Legacy 600 in North Rhine Westphalia

The German operator of executive jets has commissioned the first Legacy 600 in North Rhine Westphalia in late August.  The aviation company at Düsseldorf airport is now operating one of four Legacy 600s in Germany which is fully available to the international charter market.

The all-new, optimized Embraer Legacy 600 with the registration D-AVIB ranks as one of the world's most modern super midsize jets and is extremely popular thanks to the outstanding comfort and spaciousness it affords. The generous cabin with three elegant private areas and two separate washroom amenities provides stylish surroundings for up to 13 passengers with headroom of 1.83 m and a length of 12.95 m. Passengers enjoy the comfort both when working productively or while relaxing and enjoying themselves. The hold of this elegant jet is exceptionally large with a capacity of  6.8 m3. "We are very proud to be the first operator of this model in North Rhine Westphalia. And not only will groups of sports enthusiasts like golfers and hockey teams or bands of musicians benefit from the huge space and the attractive non-stop cruising range of over 6000 km. The value for money offered by our Legacy 600 will open up whole new possibilities, in particular for businesses from the region or for private individuals too. Since from now on, business class has gained a rival that should be taken seriously: our passengers can take off on an ad hoc basis for interesting destinations like the United Arab Emirates, London or, with just one stopover, New York on board one of the most modern executive jets, which satisfies the highest of standards", explained Ulrich Sigmann, Accountable Manager at vibroair.

Travellers will find the 2009 model provides ideal conditions for working and relaxation with its cruising speed of 850 km/h and an even further reduced noise level. The conference area allows passengers to hold meetings or conference calls without being disturbed: guests can enjoy their dinner in peace and quiet or simply lie down and relax. On top of this, state-of-the-art entertainment systems like i-pod docking, airshow and CD/DVD players will leave no room for boredom during a long-haul flight. When it comes to gastronomy, passengers are treated to delicacies from the perfectly equipped galley, which includes an espresso machine. "What most people are unaware of", explained Sigmann, "is that the price for a private jet is calculated per flight hour including all fees as well as first-class catering, and not according to the number of seats. This means flight costs are far less expensive at full capacity than is generally assumed. And if you need to fly to several destinations in one day, travelling conveniently in an executive jet can often be far better value than taking several scheduled flights. Not to mention what you gain in time.
