Gore Design Completions, Ltd (GDC) announced the addition of a new executive officer this past Friday. Ron Soret, formerly Vice President of Operations was named the company's Chief Operating Officer after a 2 ½ year history with GDC. His promotion to COO will allow him to expand upon the many operational changes he has brought to GDC since his arrival.
With projects booked well into 2011, GDC is operating with a full hangar and no signs of slowing down. Soret's appointment to an executive position will allow the company to continue to operate at maximum efficiency. As VP of Operations, he managed and encouraged the development of project management software to track real time data during the fabrication process. Being able to specifically track each budgeted hour and material has allowed GDC to meet or better its projected budgets and timelines on a consistent basis.
GDC owners Jerry Gore and Kathy Gore-Walters are "very proud to have Ron as a member of the GDC team. He brings knowledge and past experience that he is able to turn around and pass on to our customers in the form of efficiently run projects that are delivered on time and on budget."
