Metrojet adds a Global 5000 business jet to its fleet

Metrojet is pleased to announce the addition of a new Global 5000 business jet into its growing aircraft fleet. The new Global 5000 aircraft will be operated, managed and maintained by Metrojet on behalf of the aircraft owner.

Metrojet assisted the owner through every facet of the acquisition process, from regulatory compliance, insurance and administration coordination, to the pre-delivery process, including certification, specification verification, inspection, acceptance flight and aircraft delivery. Metrojet's long-range wide cabin Global 5000 aircraft manufactured by Bombardier can accommodate 13 passengers and has a maximum range of 5,200 nautical miles. It can operate at speeds of up to Mach.89 and at altitudes up to 51,000 feet.

Metrojet operates the leading Asian corporate aircraft maintenance service center around the clock throughout the region. Metrojet is a full Bombardier Authorized Service Facility for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft with a dedicated AOG go team.

In addition to maintaining Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets, Metrojet's avionics and airframe engineers also have ratings on a full range of aircraft from numerous manufacturers, including Gulfstream, Cessna Citation, Hawker Beechcraft, Dassault Falcon, Boeing, Airbus and

Embraer. Metrojet's highly trained, qualified and experienced engineers have Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce, GE, Honeywell and Turbomeca aircraft engines and APU type ratings. With a combined engineering staff of over 80 maintenance professionals, Metrojet's maintenance department is a certified repair station with approvals from the Hong Kong CAD, the United States FAA, Bermuda BDCA, Cayman Islands CAA, and is also authorized to carry out maintenance on aircraft registered in various other countries, including Mainland China, Macau and Canada.
