Jet Republic, the private aviation company, launched September 2008, has appointed CTC Aviation to carry out their pilot and flight attendant selection. The announcement comes as Jet Republic starts its training programme following unprecedented levels of interest from pilots.
CTC is a world leader in the provision of aviation training and selection support and has a reputation for the delivery of high quality, cost effective and innovative solutions for airlines and operators worldwide.
Colin Rydon, Training Director for Jet Republic commented, "Everything we do at Jet Republic is about being exceptional. Naturally this extends to the crew we employ to fly our aircraft. We are probably the envy of most airlines in the quality of applicants we are currently receiving. Appointing CTC to carry out the selection of all of our crew - both pilots and flight attendants - demonstrates how we intend to ensure that we employ only the best people to fly our aircraft and to serve our clients.
CTC's bespoke selection process has been tailored to meet our exacting needs and we are very impressed by their whole approach to ensuring they deliver a short list of candidates that truly represents the Jet Republic ethos."
Captain Lee Woodward, Executive Director for CTC Aviation said "Jet Republic's approach to business is aligned with ours - we work hard to ensure that our standards exceed expectations in everything we do. It is a real pleasure to be involved in the early days of such a significant new operation and we are looking forward to a long term partnership with Jet Republic."
Jet Republic received its 2,000th unsolicited crew CV last month and will hire more than 500 pilots over the next five years, having placed an order with Bombardier for 110 Learjet 60 XRs. Selection for Captains is already underway and the first appointments will begin training shortly with subsequent training courses running on almost a monthly basis from thereon.
