Avtrak and Piaggio sign agreement for maintenance tracking

Avtrak LLC and Piaggio Aero Industries S.p.A have signed a multi-year agreement recognizing Avtrak GlobalNet as one of the preferred factory authorized maintenance tracking services for Piaggio P-180 Avanti aircraft. For Piaggio customers taking delivery of new P-180 aircraft, Avtrak GlobalNet services will be provided to customers for the first year free of charge by Piaggio. For all in-service Piaggio P-180 customers who are currently not using Avtrak can switch to Avtrak at very competitive rates.

This decision emphasizes Piaggio's commitment to customer service. "Our customers need a system that can help them in the management of their day to day maintenance and Avtrak was the perfect choice," said Chrs Grinnell, Piaggio's U.S.  Director Product Support. "As a manufacturer, we rely on the data from this system to monitor fleet maintenance trends and continually improve our maintenance and inspection programs. Avtrak has been supporting a large part of our fleet already and we look forward to expanding the choice of  services for  our customers."
