Rizon, the Middle East and London Biggin Hill based executive charter company has appointed Andrew Pearce as Sales & Marketing Director UK/Europe.  Effective immediately, Andrew, who joins from TAG Aviation, will be based at Rizon's new London Biggin Hill facility, on schedule to open in October. 

Formerly senior manager aircraft acquisitions and sales at TAG, Andrew brings 30 years' aviation experience to Rizon.  He started out at Luton Airport, working in Flight Operations and Charter for Britannia Airways.  He moved to McAlpine Aviation, then one of the largest Corporate Aviation management companies in Europe, where he worked as Flight Operations Duty Officer.  Whilst at McAlpine, Andrew progressed into Charter and Aircraft Sales.

In the late 1980s he worked with Fortis Aviation Group, then FLS Aerospace Engineering and in 1995 joined Twinjet Aircraft, later becoming Director of Sales, covering both airliner and corporate jet sales, before moving to Marshall Aerospace in Cambridge as Corporate Sales Manager.  Here, he was instrumental in the formation of Marshall Executive Aviation, engaged in charter, MRO and FBO activities.

Rizon's $16 million UK-based maintenance operation is set for completion in October with the passenger handling operation (FBO) following in November.
