French Premium Airline is born in GAMCO

During the last one month, Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (GAMCO) was busy creating a new French premium airline dedicated to business class passengers.

L'Avion (Elysair) contracted GAMCO to perform heavy check, winglet installation, cabin upgrade and complete paint stripping and repainting to the new L'Avion livery of a Boeing 757-200 aircraft.

In addition to the heavy check the cabin underwent extensive modification and reconfiguration/refurbishment to a new standard which included installation of 90 fully adjustable premium business seats in the entire cabin, together with individual entertainment system. In addition to this GAMCO modified the aircraft and installed winglets to enhance fuel efficiency of the aircraft.

The finished aircraft sporting amethyst blue livery is truly a classy product and represents all the style and chic synonymous with high life style.

L'Avion (Elysair) is the first carrier to add winglets to Boeing 757-200 aircraft at GAMCO's facility in Abu Dhabi.

L'Avion (Elysair) started operations between Paris' Orly airport and New York in January 2007, with future plans to expand into the Middle East, the Persian Gulf and Eastern Europe
