Gama Aviation secures EASA approvals at Bournemouth maintenance facility ahead of schedule

Gama Aviation, the global business aviation services company, is pleased to announce its European ground business has secured the required EASA approvals for its new Bournemouth maintenance facility while it transitions from its existing Farnborough and Oxford sites.

Under the agreement the new Bournemouth facility is now approved for maintenance of the following types:

- King Air series

- Premier series

- Bombardier Challenger 600 series

- Bombardier Challenger 850

- Bombardier Global series

- Hawker series

- Cessna Citation 560 XL/XLS series

- Embraer Legacy series

Scott McVicar, managing director, Europe ground: “With the EASA approvals now in place we shall seek to add FAA, Cayman, Bermuda, Guernsey and the Isle of Man to the site's approval list. With the transition approval coming slightly earlier than expected, the good retention of our current team and significant interest from local engineers and support staff, I believe we are ahead of plan and can now start to book business into our new home.”
